"Do Not Fear These End Times"
Everywhere I look I find people, even godly people with concerns about what is going on in the earth today. The world is a buzz about the gas prices, the economy, food shortage, war, terrorism, rebelliousness in families, the presidential election and so on. Fear has gripped the very hearts of the people in worry that life as we have known it to be will never be the same.
This is a true fact! We are moving forward and closer to the return of our King Lord Jesus Christ.
We should have concerns as we walk in these dangerous times, but we are not to be frightened.
Jesus told us in Luke 21:8-19;
"But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately. "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
They will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name's sake. But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.
You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But not a hair of your head shall be lost. By your steadfastness and patient endurance you shall win the true life of your souls."
If we are worrying more about what is going on around us, we are looking through earthly eyes and hearing with earthly ears.
Holy Spirit is calling the church into a deeper revelation of understanding. He is calling! Are we able to hear?
God wants to show us His secret things. These are not for our entertainment, but to build the Kingdom in reaching the lost in this hour. If we are caught up in what the woes and confusion the earthly realm is presenting, we are totally out of sync with the Spirit.
Without holiness it is impossible to see God. This to me means that if we have anything in our hearts, lives, and so on that does not please the Lord it will hinder us from having a deeper walk with Him. We will not be able to have spiritual sight or spiritual hearing to see or hear what the Spirit is saying to the church in this hour. Many times this causes confusion and fear, then we act out in a natural fleshly way of solving problems. Jesus said He must leave but He would send the Comforter to help us. The Holy Spirit would come to dwell in those who would invite Him in.
In Matthew 25 the parable of the wise and the foolish virgins speaks of the church being prepared and unprepared for the coming of the Bridegroom.
God gave me a revelation about how the five wise virgins represented the burning desire and compassion many have for the Lord in their daily walk. They are waiting with anticipation in their hearts for His return. They learned how to have a love walk with Him knowing that He will not forsake them.
On the other hand, the five foolish virgins represent those whom God is calling to salvation but they keep putting it off for another day. Or could it also be the Christians who truly gave their hearts over in repentance to the Lord for the forgiveness of their sins. However, their walk with Him never matured. They never received the fullness of His Oil of His Spirit in their vessels. They became weary in waiting and wandered back to the normal routine of their earthly lives.
I believe the five wise virgins and the five foolish virgins are good people who have the right intentions all along. But this goes to show us how it is easy to get caught up in our earthly lives and become weak in our spiritual lives. You see, we are not of this earth. Yes we are attached to this world in a fleshly body, but we are spirit beings also. We are kind of what you would call a "mixed breed". Although, I like to remind others from time to time that we are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but rather we should think more on the lines that we are spiritual beings having an earthly experience. Still, in our visitation at this time, we are living beings on this planet. We are called to fulfill our days here for the Lord so we need to have air to breathe, food to eat and so on. But we need more than anything to FEED THE SPIRIT MAN and allow him to grow stronger than our earthly vessel.
So we are not to worry about what we see in the earth today, thinking that God has lost control. We do however, need to concern our thoughts and intercede for those who may not make it when the Bridegroom returns. We are to be about our Fathers business and reap the harvest of His heart. We are to go after those who do not understand that they are of a "mixed breed" teaching them that God loves them, hasn't forgotten them, and soon we will be with Him.
Wow, sometimes it's almost like having two parents, one pulling the child one way, while the other is pulling the child in another direction. Tug of war! And that's what is truly happening, although Satan is not one of our parents. The devil wants our soul, but GOD wants our hearts.
God has given us dominion and we have authority over the power of the enemy. We are not to fear, but have faith in Him.
Paul reminds us of what Jesus said;
"I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we may boldly say: "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" Hebrews 13:5,6He who has ears to hear what the Spirit is saying let him hear that GOD HAS GOT IT ALL UNDER CONTROL!
God Bless you in your journey,
